Qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, which began on November 21 is over with the final 32 teams now known. The seeded draw pots can be seen in full here.
Including the hosts, 15 teams have qualified:

- Netherlands,
- Argentina,
- Iran,
- South Korea.
The draw match of the World Cup will be held on April 1 in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The qualifying scene around the world looks like this:
Africa
Qatar, the winner of the two-team qualifiers between the five teams in March, will represent Africa in the 2022 World Cup.

Asia
Five or six teams will represent Asia, depending on the other qualifiers.
According to FIFA rules, the top two teams in each group will qualify with the third-placed team in each division, competing in a single match for the right to advance to the intercontinental play-offs to qualify for the World Cup.
Europe
In addition to the 10 already qualified, there are three more slots for the European team.
Play-off qualifiers: Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and Wales.
North, Central America and the Caribbean
Three or four teams will represent CONCACAF,depending on the other qualifiers. The third-place finishers will qualify directly for the top three as they advance to the intercontinental playoffs.
Since the last round of the qualifiers on February 2, Canada, the United States and Mexico have continued to occupy the top three places in the group.
Oceania
At most one team will represent Oceania - no representation is likely.
Eligibility will be held between 13 and 30 March. The winners will face the CONCACAF team for a place in a playoff.
South America
At least four teams will represent South America.
The top four teams will automatically qualify while the fifth-place finishers will qualify if they win the intercontinental playoffs.
