The official match ball of the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain was named Tango Espana.
Tango Espana was the first ball made of a mixture of leather and synthetics. The waterproofing properties of the ball were improved by the rubberized seams, it was not very resistant and as a result the ball had to be changed many times throughout some games. This ball was the last real leather ball used in the World Cup.
