Tango Durlast is the official match ball of the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.
The 1978 ball tango was created for the World Cup, which according to the authors should reflect elegance, dynamism and passion. The design uses 20 triads, creating an optical impression of 12 identical circles. One advantage of the tango over other balls was considered to be the improved resistance against the weather.
