Fevernova is official match ball of World Cup 2002

 

Fevernova is the official match ball of the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea.


The Fevernova ball was found at a research center in southern Germany after three years of hard work to improve the previous Tricolor ball.


The new design is based on Asian culture and not like its predecessors. The ball has a refined syntactic foam layer, which gives the ball superior performance characteristics and a three-layer woven chassis, which allows for more precise and predictable flight paths. Favarnova has presented more than 2,500 balls for World Cup matches and has since sold nearly 6 million replicas worldwide.
